Fact: For 10 years the group Playas Para el Pueblo has been protecting this small yet beautiful piece of vegetation from giant hotel chains. This small circle of tents on the beach in Carolina, Puerto Rico, has been here for six years, but who knows how long they have left. All I know is that I love how passionate these people are about our island and how they inspire me to appreciate it so much more. 🌴
