Happiness is the ultimate goal right?That and enough bob in the bank? ..your third is probably your health but nothing a good smoothie cant sort out. The feeling of true happiness is a desire we all aim for. But it’s completely unattainable.. so feel sad is strange and ruins us/ makes us feel like we are failing. In fact, if you look around you, most people are pursuing happiness in their lives.. we collectively buy shit we don’t need, go to bed with people we don’t love, and try to work hard to get approval of people we don’t like - all in the name of happiness. After a day of running around like a chicken, juggling your priorities, you lie in bed and question ‘What’s next in this endless pursuit of happiness?” I came out here with a college friend and have had one of the best trips I’ve ever had. Honestly, money is tight in freelance, I couldn’t really afford this at all.. but it can be sitting there or spent so I decided to come out again to create new stories/memories in the best company. Things fuck up when you jig up your routine.. We live by strict rules and obey to society but it wouldn’t hurt to add a little spice, even if it’s too spicey and you can’t eat it! I have thought about how happiness isn’t actually the ultimate goal at all. It’s reaching for the stars, sure, but it’s about being excited to deal with the crap that life brings you too because then you know you’re learning and figuring it out - finding out which spices you actually like! So enough about spices - You’re one step closer instead of sitting on the side walk and letting people pass you by so here I am.
